
Pinellas County seems to be getting a little colder toward its hometown gubernatorial candidate, according to a new poll.
The StPetePollssurvey, which was commissioned by SaintPetersBlog, questioned607 random voters within those registered in SD 22, which covers southern Pinellas and part of Hillsborough County.Only those planning to cast votes in November were included in the poll.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) went all out on Tuesday to let the public know that All Aboard Florida is not getting state funds as it looks to bring high-speed rail to the Sunshine State. FDOT Secretary Ananth Prasad sent a letter to All Aboard Florida President Michael Reininger in which he notes that.

U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., teamed up with U.S. Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla, and U.S. Rep. Matt Salmon, R-Ariz., to bring out the Fuel Choice for American Prosperity and Security Act (FCAPS) on Tuesday. The proposed bill lowers CAFE obligations for automakers if they make cars using less petroleum.

Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera went to bat for his boss Gov. Rick Scott on Tuesday, releasing a video in Spanish attacking former Gov. Charlie Crist on crime.
