Teachers Union Sues Over Voucher Law

A prominent Florida teachers' union is taking legal action over the state's recently passed voucher law, which would expand Florida's voucher program as well as create personal learning accounts for students with disabilities.

Tom Faasse of the Florida Education Association filed the suit in Leon County against Gov. Rick Scott, the Florida Cabinet and Education Commissioner Pam Stewart over the bill, which passed on the last day of this year's legislative session.The lawsuit seeks to find the legislation unconstitutional.

Rick Scott Campaign Announces 'Sportsmen For Scott' Coalition

Rick Scott's campaign announced the Sportsmen For Scott coalition on Tuesday in Orlando.

The coalition will be led from sportsmen across the state, such as TV hosts Roland Martin, Peter Miller, Scott Martin and Rick Murphy, and Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris.

According to a press release, the coalition will be led by 19 statewide co-chairs, which will include U.S. Rep. Steve Southerland, R-Fla., U.S. Rep.Jeff Miller, R-Fla.,and Rep. Jimmy Patronis, R-Panama City.

Attorney General Eric Holder granted an exclusive interview to ABC's "This Week With George Stephanopoulos" from London, where he was portrayed by ABC as deeply concerned about the global terrorist threat. What stands out from this very rare session -- Holder hasn't been on Sunday network television in four years -- is that Holder pulled out the oldest, lamest card in the Obama political deck: President Barack Obama and he are opposed by people who should be suspected of racism.
