Carlos Curbelo Gets Support of Florida State Lodge FOP

The Florida State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police announced on Wednesday that it was backing Miami-Dade School Board member Carlos Curbelo in his bid to defeat U.S. Rep. Joe Garcia, D-Fla., in November.

Carlos Curbelo will make a strong advocate for his constituency and law enforcement, said James Preston, the president of the Florida State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police. We feel that he will serve the citizens of his community and the state of Florida well. He has a clear plan for his community and we look forward to working with him in the future, to protect the rights of law enforcement and the citizens of Florida.
