New Hampshire voters went to the polls on Tuesday to vote in the first presidential primary. The stakes were high on both sides as candidates maneuvered for position.

Members of the Florida congressional delegation continue to urge the federal government to help prepare the Sunshine State for the Zika virus even as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) sent 950 Zika antibody tests to Florida.

After the latest forecast from the U.S. Department of Agriculture was released on Tuesday, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam said “Florida’s citrus industry is on a precipice.”

With U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., expected to defeat her in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday night, former U.S. Sec. of State Hillary Clinton is looking ahead to Florida which holds its primary on March 15. 

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Monday that it is sending more than $20 million in awards to universities for projects to help battle Huanglongbing (HLB), better known as citrus greening. Almost $9 million of those funds are headed to universities in the Sunshine State. 

Two congressmen from South Florida announced they were teaming up to launch the Climate Solutions Caucus as they looked to take climate change out of the partisan arena. 

Even as the federal government looks ready to ramp up its right against the Zika virus, Florida now has 16 reports of the virus in the Sunshine State as state Surgeon General Dr. John Armstrong offered an update on Monday afternoon. 

Fighting to stay alive after the New Hampshire debate, Republican presidential hopeful former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-Fla., is making his campaign a family affair as he trots out members of one of America’s leading political dynasties to help his bid. 

Bush is one of a number of candidates battling for second place in New Hampshire behind businessman Donald Trump who leads the polls in the Granite State. Other Republican hopefuls in the running for second are Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Gov. John Kasich of Ohio and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida. 

Business owner and retired police officer Jeff Moran is running in the Republican primary to take on U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, D-Fla., in North Florida.
