Politicians looking to win in 2014 would do well to label their opponents as career politicians.
According to a Rasmussen Reports poll released on Tuesday, only 7 percent of likely voters think being called a career politician is a plus, while a majority of those surveyed -- 53 percent -- think its a negative. More than a third -- 36 percent -- classify the term somewhere in between.

More bad news for Trey Radel: Republican Party of Florida Chairman Lenny Curry has joined others in urging the Fort Myers congressman to resign.
Last week, word broke out that Radel had been arrested for possession of cocaine at the end of October in Washington, D.C. Radel, who was elected to the House of Representatives in 2012, pleaded guilty to the charge last Wednesday and was sentenced to a year of probation.

Gov. Rick Scott offered his comments on President Barack Obama's interim deal with Iran on Monday, expressing his disapproval over it.
President Obamas nuclear deal with Iran does nothing to stop the countrys pursuit of nuclear weapons," said Scott. "The deal relieves Iran from economic sanctions while allowing them to continue to enrich uranium. This could prove to be a dangerous formula for the safety of our ally Israel, the Middle East and the world.
