You probably can't imagine how much fun I've had at Sunshine State News over the last 10 years. I don't think anybody could.

WASHINGTON -- Ideas are not responsible for the people who believe them, but when evaluating Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's ideas for making the Senate more like the House of Representatives, consider the source.

Gainesville attorney Jon Uman has switched gears, ending his bid for an Alachua County judical position to run for the Florida House seat currently held by Rep. Keith Perry, R-Gainesville. Uman filed the paperwork to run for the House seat, which represents all of Dixie and Gilchrist counties and part of Alachua County, earlier this week.
