A 28-year-old former legislative aide for state Sen. Maria Sachs, D-Delray Beach, has filed a sexual harassment complaint against his former boss, saying Sachs routinely undressed in front of him in her Senate office.

After flopping in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Jeb Bush is ready to hit the campaign trail again. 

The former governor will take the stump for Congressman David Jolly who is running to defend his seat in Pinellas County. Jolly is expected to face former Governor Charlie Crist who succeeded Bush in the governor’s mansion before leaving the GOP to run with no party affiliation for the Senate in 2010 and then for governor in 2014 as the Democratic nominee.  

As he announced his support for Jolly, Bush held his fire.

Fewer Schools Receive 'F' and 'A' Letter Grades in 2015-2016 Report

The number of Florida schools receiving an “F” letter grade for the 2015-2016 school year was cut in half from last year, but the number of "A" schools was also down significantly, according to a new report released by the the Florida Department of Education Friday.

The department said the number of schools earning the lowest possible letter grade -- an  “F” -- dropped by approximately 50 percent from 204 in 2014-2015 to 103 in 2015-2016. 

The report also found 58 percent of schools that earned a “D” or “F” in 2014-2015 improved by at least one letter grade in 2015-2016.
