Pro Resort-Casinos AIF Launches 'Best for Florida' Campaign with New Website
Associated Industries of Florida will put its integrated-resort advocacy behind a new campaign, "Best for Florida," launched Wednesday.
The campaign is part of a new multimedia effort to provide Floridians with facts about gaming in the Sunshine State, according to the AIF press statement, and "the tremendous benefits" establishing an integrated resort in the state would bring.

Charlie Crist: I'm Too Busy to Care
Tuesday morning, even before Gov. Rick Scott and the Republican Party of Florida had made the announcement selecting Carlos Lopez-Cantera as lieutenant governor, Charlie Crist's camp had released a no-response response.

Florida Farm Bureau Gets Top National Honor
For the second year in a row, Florida Farm Bureau has received a national award for its programs and operations, according to a news release issued by the 147,000-member agricultural organization.
The organization received the American Farm Bureau Federations (AFBF) 2013 Pinnacle Award, highest recognition conferred upon a state Farm Bureau.

ALF Reform Passes Second Senate Committee
