The House passed a measure backed by Rep. Richard Corcoran, R-New Port Richey, which would repeal the bill on red-light cameras passed in the 2010 session. The repeal measure passed by the slimmest of margins59 to 57.

Space Shuttle Endeavor Lift-Off Moved Back Until at Least Sunday
While the last flight of the space shuttle Endeavor was supposed to be Friday, the launch was canceled due to concerns over a heater circuit. While initially there was talk about moving the launch to Sunday and then Monday, NASA administrators are now insisting that the earliest the shuttle will take off will be Sunday, May 8. In the meantime, the six astronauts are heading back to Texas for more training.

Mike Haridopolos Responds to News of RPOF Chair's Illness
It emerged Friday that Dave Bitner, who was elected chairman of the Republican Party of Florida in January, was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease.
