Rick Santorum Gets the Support of Prominent Iowa Pastor

Rev. Terry Amann, a pastor based in the Des Moines area, announced that he is backing former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania for the Republican presidential nomination.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of Reverend Amann, Santorum said. Terry is a true leader for traditional American family values, not just in Des Moines but throughout Iowa. I am blessed to receive his vote of confidence today and look forward to working with him as we drive toward victory in the Iowa caucuses."

Jon Huntsman Demands Debate With Mitt Romney

Having debated former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Monday, former Gov. Jon Huntsman of Utah now turns his sights on former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts.

Conyers Davis, Huntsmans deputy campaign manager, sent an email to Matt Rhoades, Romneys campaign manager, calling for a Lincoln-Douglas debate between the two men.

Veteran California Republican U.S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a former aide to Ronald Reagan, announced on Monday that he is backing former Gov. Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential nomination.

A committed public servant, he understands that President Obamas policies are hurting the middle class and have only burdened future generations with debt. Cain Shows No Signs of Going Away, Launches 'Cain Solutions'

Despite getting out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination after being confronted with allegations of sexual harassment and marital infidelity, businessman Herman Cain, who rocketed to prominence in the polls and then quickly spiraled downward, shows no signs of going away.

Cain sent out an email to supporters on Monday in which he writes that he will continue to remain active.

Randall Terry Hits Barack Obama on Energy Policies in New Ads

Pro-life activist Randall Terry, the founder of Operation Rescue, unveiled new television ads on Monday as he continues his bid to topple President Barack Obama in the Democratic primaries.

Terry appeared in front of the White House on Monday to talk to the media about his campaign. While Terry has made no bones about the fact that he expects to lose to Obama in the primaries, he hopes to ensure that 7 to 8 percent of the Catholics who voted for Obama in 2008 will not back him in 2012.

A poll unveiled on Monday by Hamilton Campaigns and Ayres McHenry & Associates revealed how Floridians from both parties and all parts of the Sunshine State overwhelmingly wanted to see monies collected from the federal government in penalties from the BP oil spill stay in the Gulf States instead of going to Washington -- but it also had troubling news for both President Barack Obama and Gov.
