Ron Paul Hits Newt Gingrich in New Web Video

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas took aim at fellow Republican presidential hopeful former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Monday, hammering the former congressional leader in a Web video released on Monday. The aim attacks Gingrich on ethical matters.

These are all legitimate and important issues to point out to the American people, said Jesse Benton, Pauls national chairman, on Monday. If Americans are serious about changing the status quo in Washington, then they must take into account the record of someone who profited from the housing collapse with taxpayers money, advocated for Obamacare-style individual mandates, and who played the Washington game of getting rich due to influence as well as anyone.
