Michele Bachmann Doubles Down on Iowa

Republican presidential hopeful U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota is going all out to win the Iowa caucus. On Monday, Bachmann, who won the Iowa Republican straw poll back in August, announced that she would hit all 99 counties in the Hawkeye State before the Jan. 3 caucus.

Michele Bachmann is determined to win the Iowa caucuses the same way she won the Republican Party of Iowa Straw Poll in August -- shes going to work harder than any other candidate in the race, Keith Nahigian, Bachmanns campaign manager, said in a statement released on Monday. Visiting counties over the course of 10 days will reflect her energy, enthusiasm and extraordinary work ethic as well as her commitment to representing the concerns of Iowa families who want a president that will put them first.
