Former U.S. Rep. Allen West had harsh words for President Barack Obamas policy in the Middle East on Tuesday. Taking to Facebook, West, who has opened the door to a political comeback in 2016, ripped Obama before the presidents speech on Syria. Thanks to Obamas ineptitude, the balance of power is shifting in the Middle East, and its not in our favor, West wrote. In a couple hours, well watch the president take credit for avoiding military action no one supported thanks to his deft diplomatic touch.

With the Russian government indicating it will work with Syria for that nation to relinquish its chemical weapons, U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Fla., said the idea had merits and should be considered. The Russian proposal to address Syria through diplomatic negotiations instead of military action deserves serious consideration, Buchanan said on Tuesday. Whether or not this becomes a reality, the door has now been opened for the international community to express support for a diplomatic solution. By so doing, our country can avoid an ill-advised military strike.

She takes the post which had been held by Judge Frederic Rand Wallis who resigned. Through her decades of practicing law, Christie has exhibited the qualities that make for a fair and capable judge, Scott said. I am certain she will continue to demonstrate knowledge of the law and judicial restraint while serving the citizens of Florida on the 9th Judicial Circuit bench.
