Marco Rubio Hammers Dems, Will Not Back Any More Continuing Budget Resolutions

Florida Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio said on Monday morning that he would oppose any more continuing budget resolutions and demanded Congress pass a full budget.

Legal, Illegal Immigrants Shipped $58.9 Billion Out of U.S. Last Year

Immigrants shipped $58.9 billion back to their home countries in Latin America and the Caribbean last year, according to the Inter-American Development Bank.

The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that 2010 remittances from U.S. immigrants climbed 0.2 percent over 2009, and that 2011 is starting out stronger. The Inter-American bank data do not distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants, estimated to number more than 10 million.

Daylight Savings Time: Clocks Spring Forward an Hour Sunday, March 13

Adjust your clocks -- and your bodies -- accordingly.

Most of the U.S. switches over to Daylight Savings Time this weekend, moving clocks ahead one hour in order to get an extra hour of sunlight in the evening.

Though the official change is at 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, March 13, nobody will notice if you wind your clocks ahead a little earlier in the evening.
