Gregory Coleman Next President-elect of The Florida Bar
Gregory W. Coleman, an attorney from West Palm Beach, is now in line to be president of The Florida Bar in 2014, as he was the only candidate to seek the post of president-elect for the next term.
Coleman will be sworn in as president-elect in June, when Fort Lauderdale attorney Eugene K. Pettis becomes president.

Race for Democratic Party Chair Down to Two
The decision by Annette Taddeo to withdraw from the race for Florida Democratic Party chair over the weekend has turned the race into a two-person battle, with Allison Tant of Tallahassee and Alan Clendenin of Tampa left to vie for the position.
Taddeo threw her support behind Tant, who is seen as a sort of establishment candidate in the election, scheduled for Jan. 26.

Ken Detzner: Expect Personnel Changes Inside St. Lucie Elections Office
Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner expects to see some personnel changes in the St. Lucie County supervisor of elections office as he continues his review of the 2012 election for Gov. Rick Scott.
Detzner said Monday he is waiting for a report from St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker about the proposed changes they discussed during a closed door meeting last Thursday.
She said shes going to make some changes and I think shell do it, Detzner said following the vote of Floridas presidential electors in the Senate chambers.
