Ballots postmarked before the polls closed at 7 p.m. on Election Day should be counted. Ballots with mismatched signatures should be counted. Ballots where voters made mistakes but where their intentions were clear should be counted. And deadlines to tally ballots in machine and manual recounts should be ignored.

While a ceasefire has been called after Hamas launched hundreds of rockets into the southern part of Israel from Gaza, members of the Florida congressional delegation continue to champion that country’s right to defend itself against terrorism. 

With southern Israel under attack from rockets being shot from Palestinian controlled Gaza, the two South Florida congressional representatives who lead the U.S. House Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee expressed their support of that key American ally. 

It's been two years since we've seen them, but VoteVets, an influential liberal super PAC reliant on obscure funding sources, filed suit Monday in an effort to validate mail-in ballots received after Election Day. It's part of the Democrats’ ongoing effort to win the Florida gubernatorial and Senate victories in recounts.
