Ted Yoho Weighs In on Iran Nuclear Deal

From his perch on the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, freshman U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., said he welcomed the major powers agreement with Iran over its nuclear program but did urge some caution.

Rick Scott, Hertz to Break Ground on New Headquarters

Gov. Rick Scott will be joining Hertz on Tuesday to break ground on their new headquarters in Florida, according to a press release from the governor's office.

Rental car company Hertz will be moving its headquarters from Park Ridge, N.J., to Estero, Fla.

"This is truly the largest economic event in Lee County's history and we've been established since 1887; that is no understatement," said Lee County Commissioner Frank Mann.

Florida Congressmen Warn on Iran Nuclear Deal

Florida commands the top two spots on the U.S. House Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee and chairwoman U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., and ranking minority member U.S. Rep.Ted Deutch, D-Fla., offered cautious words about the nuclear deal with Iran announced over the weekend.

Obama's Leadership Takes a Hit

Support for President Barack Obama is falling in polls everywhere.

In a recent Rasmussen Reports poll, Obama's leadership rating took a hit, with over half of likely American voters rating his leadership as either fair or poor. This number includes 44 percent who view Obama as a poor leader and 16 percent who see him as a fair leader.

Only 20 percent said they rated Obama's leadership as excellent. The same amount said his leadership was good.

Charlie Crist Draws RPOF Fire on Obamacare

The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) opened the short Thanksgiving week with a jab at former Gov. Charlie Crist, the ex-Republican running for governor in 2014 as a Democrat. RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry looked to tie Crist to the increasingly unpopular federal health care backed by President Barack Obama.
