The Florida Chamber of Commerce has backed up Gov. Rick Scotts call for additional customs officers at Miami International Airport to encourage international tourism.
Chamber Executive Vice President David Hart urged Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Orlando, and all the other members of the states congressional delegation to help prod U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide more customs officials at the South Florida airport.
The Chamber also sent the letter to Scott's office and Chamber President Mark Wilson.
