You probably can't imagine how much fun I've had at Sunshine State News over the last 10 years. I don't think anybody could.

Barack Obama
Somebody he'll listen to needs to tell President Obama to stop slamming Donald Trump in all the wrong places.
On Thursday the Congressional Black Caucus PAC, with a 20-member board including 11 lobbyists, 7 elected officials, and 2 people who work for the PAC, endorsed Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The CBC-PAC is the political arm of the Congressional Black Caucus.
It was conventional wisdom among the political cognoscenti during most of the primary season that Donald Trump could not win the general election. The evidence seemed strong.
As someone who believes that excessive partisanship and Balkanization is poisoning our politics, I have tried to view Hillary Clinton as something other than the ghoul she is portrayed as in conservative circles. No accusation against her is considered too outlandish to gain assent in some precincts of the right: Vince Foster was murdered. Clinton covered up a cocaine smuggling operation in Arkansas. She assassinated Kathleen Willey's cat.

Women, lamented Hillary Clinton in an April 2014 tweet, make just 77 cents on the dollar to men. As a presidential candidate she has repeated that lament again and again, updating the numbers, in line with government statistics, to 78 cents in July 2015 and 79 cents this year.
People often ask Gallup, "Are millennials really that different?" The answer is yes -- profoundly so. Millennials will change the world decisively more than any other generation.
According to reports, Berta Soler, the iconic leader of the Ladies in White, has been arrested and charged with bogus crimes, and stripped of her ability to travel.
University of Missouri at St. Louis criminologist Richard Rosenfeld has had "second thoughts." Like many academic criminologists, he had pooh-poohed charges that skyrocketing murder rates in many cities in 2015 and 2016 result from a "Ferguson effect" -- a skittering back from proactive policing for fear of accusations of racism like those that followed the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in August 2014.
