Monday, MSNBC's "Morning Joe" hosted a spirited discussion with Donald Trump on whether he was right in asserting that Muslims in New Jersey celebrated as the towers came down on 9/11.About Muslim celebrations in Berlin, however, there appears to be no doubt. In my chapter "Eurabia," in "State of Emergency: The Third World Invasion and Conquest of America," [2006] is this quote from The New York Times Magazine, exactly 10 years ago.

On Monday, U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., took to the Senate floor to make the following speech on national security and data collection:

Storm trooper tactics by bands of college students making ideological demands across the country, and immediate preemptive surrender by college administrators -- such as at the University of Missouri recently -- bring back memories of the 1960s, for those of us old enough to remember what it was like being there, and seeing first-hand how painful events unfolded.

Referring to ISIS,‭ ‬President Obama made the following claims mere hours before the horrific terrorist attacks took place in Paris,‭ ‬France:‭ "‬I don't think they're gaining strength.‭ ‬What is true is that‭ ‬from the start,‭ ‬our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them.‭ ‬They have not gained ground in Iraq,‭ ‬and in Syria they'll come in,‭ ‬they'll leave,‭ ‬but you don't see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain.‭"  ‬Flippantly,‭ ‬the president also referred to ISIS as a‭ “‬JV team,‭” ‬quipping that if ISIS were to‭ “‬put on Lakers uniform,‭ ‬that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.‭”

WASHINGTON -- Surely he's finally gone and done it now.

WASHINGTON -- The Syrian refugee debate has become a national embarrassment. It begins with a president, desperate to deflect attention from the collapse of his foreign policy, retreating to his one safe zone -- ad hominem attacks on critics, this time for lack of compassion toward Syrian widows and orphans.

WASHINGTON -- Give thanks this day for some indirect blessings of liberty, including the behavior-beyond-satire of what are generously called institutions of higher education. People who are imprecisely called educators have taught, by their negative examples, what intelligence is not.

Sorry, but I'm not buying into the attempt to shame Americans into accepting hordes  of Syrian refugees.

Each of our two political parties, ancient by world standards, seems to be facing a gathering storm. 

Death happens to the best of us, and also to the worst.

I am proud to be a part of the Florida delegation, representing the great Sunshine State and its residents. Florida knows how to do travel and tourism right!

As much as we talk about protecting the First Amendment in this country, with each generation apparently we get further away from understanding it.

There is a painful irony in a recent decision of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, on the side of Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, whom the U.S. Department of Justice tried to stop from making charter schools widely available to minority youngsters in his state.

Those working to give Florida kids a good education deserve some props for noting the fact that liberals support those efforts, and have for decades.

When Islamic terrorist attacks cause mass casualties, like the horrific events in Paris, it's all well and good to preach the obvious that ISIS killers don't represent all Muslims, any more than the Nazis represented all the German people. But what is wholly unacceptable is any attempt to drag Christianity into a moral-equivalency game with radical Islam.
