Trey Radel's Amendment to NDAA on Civil Liberties Passes

U.S. Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla., offered an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to ensure the Defense Department makes an annual report to Congress on American citizens facing military detention. The House passed Radels amendment without opposition.

Reverse Mortgage Reforms Praised by Florida Congresswoman

U.S. Rep.Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., weighed in on Thursday on the House granting more seniors protection when they use the Federal Housing Administrations (FHA) Reverse Mortgage loan protection program. The bill will cut down on seniors overborrowing.
