Florida Sheriffs Association Statement on Hurricane Michael Impact and Recovery Efforts

"It's been four days since a monster storm slammed into the Florida Panhandle, destroying an untold number of homes with 155-mile per hour winds and a tremendous amount of storm surge. Hurricane Michael has continued to wreak havoc in the southeast, and damage will no doubt tally in the billions.

Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine and Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin were the final undecided senators to announce their votes Friday afternoon -- and they're voting "yes." So is Sen. Jeff Flake, the Arizona Republican who called for the FBI background probe into Kavanaugh. Sen Lisa Murkowski, an Alaska Republican, will vote no, but she is the only Republican who will.

Rubio: I Will Oppose Kendall Parkway Until Everglades Protection Is Guaranteed

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio announced Tuesday on NBC 6 Miami his objections to the planned Kendall Parkway expressway in light of the upcoming project review. The senator released the following statement on the proposed roadway project:
