The transition website, which is now live, features an application portal for those interested in working for the DeSantis Administration to submit resumes and apply for jobs within the administration.
 
The website also features a contact submission page for scheduling requests, as well as a landing page for media inquiries and the latest press releases.

Judge Walker Gives Voters More Time to Correct Rejected Ballots

Florida’s ongoing vote recount was further complicated Thursday when Tallahassee U.S. District Court Judge Mark Walker ruled that some 4,000 voters whose mail-in ballots were rejected due to incompatible signatures will have until Saturday to correct their ballots.

Lawsuit Tries to Save Ballot Images

The secretary of state and 15 elections supervisors are being sued in U.S. District Court in Tallahassee allegedly to make sure they preserve digital ballot images created by voting machines during the Nov. 6 elections. Preserving those images are required by law.

Ron DeSantis Announces Transition Team Chairs

Governor-Elect Ron DeSantis announced Wednesday in a written press statement the four Florida leaders he's chosen to spearhead transition for the new administration. Congressman Matt Gaetz, Speaker Richard Corcoran, former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux, and former Lt. Gov. Toni Jennings will serve as chairs to the Ron DeSantis transition team. 

DeSantis Campaign Chair Susie Wiles will serve as executive director and Congressman DeSantis’ former chief of staff, Scott Parkinson, will join the team as deputy executive director.

The man who claims to have been so offended by Ron DeSantis' "monkey it up" comment at the start of the gubernatorial campaign turns around and callously refers to DeSantis as a dog. For a laugh.
 
"My grandmother used to say, 'a hit dog will holler,'" Gillum said when DeSantis lost his cool at being connected to accused racist David Horowitz.

Two DeSantis-Gillum Debates This Week

A pair of much-anticipated debates between governor hopefuls Republican Ron DeSantis and Democrat Andrew Gillum are set for this week, as the GOP fights to keep the office it's held for 20 years and the Democrats try to make Gillum the first African-American governor of Florida and the first Democrat since Lawton Chiles to win the job.

8 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Nationally televised on CNN, the first one-hour debate, at WEDU studios in Tampa, will be hosted by CNN anchor Jake Tapper.
