Patrick Murphy Is Right. He’s 'in a Really Bad Place'

May 23, 2016 - 2:45pm

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Patrick Murphy had himself another rough week last week.  Even he admits he’s “in a really bad place.”

He’s had to deal with reports of him returning thousands of dollars in campaign contributions, answering for his friend’s violent domestic abuse, denying alleged Super PAC coordination … and that was just last Monday.

It can be hard to keep it all straight, so we thought we’d recap some of Murphy’s troubling headlines, and highlight the thousands of tainted dollars his Democrat friends have also had to return so far (still waiting on Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who had her own pretty bad week).  Then we can move right along to this week’s fun. I’m sure Patrick is just as anxious as we are about any news items to come this week …
