What did you want to be when you were growing up ?
A saxaphone player or a public servant
What do you consider to be your biggest political achievement ?
Passing my first bill HB 1509 in 2008 which allows person convicted of noncriminal traffic offenses and who can't afford to pay the fine to perform community service to satisfy their debt.
What was your biggest political faux pas ?
I haven't had any that I recall.
Who in state government do you most admire ?
Congressman Kendrick Meek, he has been my mentor and political advisor.
Who in the world do you most admire ?
My parents Oscar and Patricia Braynon they provided a stable two parent family and have been very encouraging and supportive of me throughout my life.
Who is your favorite lawmaker of the opposite party and why ?
Whomever is the Speaker of the House at the present time. The speaker can be very helpful in how you perform in your job.
What do you remember as your wackiest constituent request ?
One of my constituents was very insistent that I marry his daughter. We did go out on a date but we weren't suited for each other.
What is your favorite place in the world ?
South Florida and since my father was a career Navy pilot I've had a chance to live in a number of different places.
What is your least favorite household chore ?
Without a doubt it's cleaning the house.
