What did you want to be when you were growing up ?
A doctor until I found out I had to study math. I graduated from Vanderbilt Law School and became an attorney.
What do you consider to be your biggest political achievement ?
HB 437which addresses contingency fee agreements between the Department of Legal Affairs and private attorneys. It passed both the House and Senate and was approved by the governor April 14th.
What was your biggest political faux pas ?
I've been fortunate so far because I haven't had any.
Who in state government do you most admire ?
I admire policemen and women, firefighters and teachers public servants who work hard every day.
Who in all the world do you most admire ?
My wife, I definately married above myself.
Who is your favorite lawmaker of the opposite party and why ?
Rep. Ari Porth and Rep. Joe Abruzzo they both have great vision and leadership ability.
What do you remember as being your wackiest constituent request ?
I really can't recall any wacky ones but frequently people call with federal issues.
What is your favorite place in the world ?
Close to home because my wife and I enjoy hiking and we've found places to do that.
What is your least favorite household chore ?
We have two cats and I really don't like cleaning out the litter box.
