It’s time. In fact, it's past time.
Debbie needs to go. President Obama should have replaced her already as DNC chair, but since he hasn’t, it's up to the Jewish community and the African-American community to get the job done.
She is no longer fit to hold that congressional seat, and between the two communities, we can take it away from her. A message should be sent to DWS, and really, others, who think they have taken up permanent residence in Washington, D.C.
That message is: We put you in, and we can take you out.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz only cares about one person, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
No matter how many tear-filled speeches she gives, or how many times she says she makes tough decisions, make no mistake, she does nothing that doesn’t benefit her.
Let’s start with the most recent Iran decision.
She rode the fence as long as she could, until she finally threw the Jewish community under the bus.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not passing judgment on whether the deal is right or wrong for the Jewish community. That is for the the community itself to decide. Personally, If I were Jewish, I would be screaming bloody murder. But that is just me.
I just don’t buy Debbie Wasserman Schultz's BS.
According to Debbie:
“There’s nothing more important to me as a Jew than to ensure that Israel’s existence is there throughout our generations.”
No, Debbie, what is clearly more important to you as a Jew is your political ambition. It is more important than what your constituents want, it is more important than being a Jew, it is more important than anything in the world. You will say, do, and be anything to get political power, and it is time to stop you.
The way to do that is at the South Florida ballot box.
Debbie’s district is one of the more liberal, with a higher population of Jewish residents, making it easy for her to hold onto the seat for as long as she has.
But a strong candidate could beat her.
Before, she had the strength of the DNC chair behind her, which deterred a lot of people from making challenge. That isn’t carrying as much weight, given the fact that DNC members have turned on her these days, given her horrible performance over the 2014 election cycle. Her relationship with President Obama is chilly at best.
I believe she only said she would vote for this agreement to keep her job, and to look for a possible future job with Hillary, which should enrage the Jewish Community even more.
This whole six-Democratic-debates dictatorship thing is disgusting and is another reason she should be made to hit the pavement. Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley supporters should jump in line to oust her as well.
It really is time for this chick to go.
Martin Karp, from the Miami-Dade School Board is mulling a run. Stacy Ritter, the Broward County commissioner, could replace her. Katie Edwards would do a fine job.
A dear Jewish friend of mine said he would donate a million of his own dollars to anyone who would run against her.
That’s how badly people want her gone!
Hell, this should turn into an “Anyone but Debbie” campaign.
She did give us Allison Tant, after all. Which, right there, is reason enough to cart her off for good.
Now to my African-American people.
In my Janet Jackson voice:
What has she done for you lately?
Until this recent Black Lives Matter Resolution (and she probably didn’t want to do that), has Debbie Wasserman Schultz made African-American issues a priority at all during her DNC tenure? I know she made all kinds of trips to Africa and did photo ops with little starving African kids, but what has she done for the African-AMERICAN people here in the United States, as the DNC chair?
Hell, has she ever made a trip even one county up from her district to Belle Glade to see the atrocious living conditions there? It’s like a third-world country. Many of those folks don’t have drinkable water.
As the DNC chair, other than making statements here and there, has she pushed forth an agenda to benefit African-Americans in ANY tangible manner? African-Americans have got to stop letting people like DWS get away with all this talk, and no action.
The DNC should be leading the fight for prison reform. When Rand Paul is doing more on the restoration of felons’ rights front than Debbie Wassrman Schultz, we have a problem.
Has she assisted Desmond Meade with his current ballot initiative to restore felons’ rights in Florida? Yes, it is a state issue, but last time I looked, Debbie was still a part of this state.
Her record as DNC chair is as bad as Allison Tant’s as FDP chair. They lost just about every election they were involved in, and yet they still have their jobs.
Where does that happen?
Debbie Wassermn Schultz has been the DNC chair for eight years and not one major Cabinet appointment has come out of Florida. Not one. Exactly what do we need her for? What good is she doing for Florida? Florida has come through for the president twice. Twice.
The Jewish Community and the African-American Community need to come together on this one. We have common ground.
Jewish people and African-Americans have worked together for the greater good before. Civil Rights was a biggie.
This is certainly a call to action.
We have to rid South Florida of this woman.
She has become a menace.
