How long have people been asking Hillary Clinton to release the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs? A while now, right? So far we have gotten every excuse except the dog ate it. Let’s be real about the seriousness of those transcripts. Hillary wouldn’t even let the dog eat them. She’d eat them herself before that happened. That’s how badly she wants to keep the world from finding out what she said in those speeches.
To keep asking her to release the transcripts, in my opinion, is crazy. Not because we don’t deserve to know what she said, but because whatever she releases at this point will be tainted.
There is no way on God’s green earth that anything that comes from Hillary Rodham Clinton will be 100 percent what came out of her mouth the day she gave her speeches. She, along with Bill and all the rest of her handlers, will have scrubbed those transcripts to make her seem squeakier than Mary Poppins, and we all know that isn’t true.
Unless we can get the transcripts from the transcriber, and that person hasn’t been threatened within an inch of his or her life, we will never know what Hillary Clinton actually said to Goldman Sachs.
What we do know, however, is that whatever it was, was so bad that she is going to this length to keep the American public from finding out. She’s protecting those transcripts harder than she protected national security, as it related to her emails and her private server that could have been hacked at any given moment.
If nothing untoward was in those transcripts, she would have released them without batting an eye.
There never would have been this cat-and-mouse game. Her conditions wouldn’t keep changing. First, she was going to look into it. Then, if the other Democrats released theirs, she would do it. Then, if every candidate, to include Republicans, released theirs, she would do it. Next it will be after President Obama releases his -- in keeping with how much she likes to throw President Obama’s name in everything she does these days!
Hillary’s trustworthiness was already at an all-time low, and all she needed to do was be transparent on an issue that she herself kept insisting wasn’t an issue.
She couldn’t do it.
She couldn’t do it because it was an issue. She gave that Goldman Sachs audience their money’s worth. She earned every bit of those hundreds of thousands of dollars. I know it. She knows it. The country knows it.
The transcripts would only prove it.
That’s why Hillary has proverbially eaten those transcripts and we will never get the opportunity to see the real, unaltered version.
That’s OK, Hillary. We know what you are capable of, given the sniper fire you claimed you were once under, so we can imagine what you said.
Everyone else can continue to ask for the transcripts if they want to. I’m not going to waste my breath. I know Hillary has gotten rid of her copies of the incriminating evidence.
She wants to be president entirely too badly to let those transcripts hang around in original form.
Whatever tall tales she has now are just that.
Tall tales.
