Florida lawmakers are appearing at Veterans Day events across Florida on Friday.
Gov. Rick Scott and first lady Ann Scott were scheduled to attend the Veterans Day Celebration at Cambier Park, 8th St. South at 6th Ave. South in Old Naples, at 10:15 a.m.
Members of the Florida Senate Republican Caucus are scheduled to attend the following events:
Sen. Charlie Dean, R-Inverness, Inverness Veterans Parade, 10-11:30 a.m., at the Old Court House Square, Inverness.
Sen. Mike Fasano, Veterans Day ceremony at the Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Nursing Home, 11 a.m., at 6919 Parkway Blvd., Land OLakes. Earlier, Fasano was to speak at a Veterans Day ceremony hosted by the Heritage Lake Homeowners Association, 10 a.m. Friday, at the Heritage Lake Clubhouse, Heritage Lake Blvd., New Port Richey.
Fasano will speak at a Veterans Day ceremony hosted by the Tiki Village Homeowners Association, 1 p.m. Friday, at Tiki Village Mobile Home Park, Society Dr., Holiday.
Fasano will speak at the 26th Annual Hudson Seafest Veterans Day ceremony, 5 p.m. Friday, at the USA Fleamarket, U.S. Hwy. 19, Bayonet Point.
Sen. David Simmons, Veterans Day dinner hosted by the Orlando Science School, 5:15-6:45 p.m. Friday, at 2427 Lynx Lane, Orlando.

In PALM BEACH COUNTY
Rep. Joseph Abruzzo, D-Wellington, Veterans Day celebration at the Wellington Veterans Memorial. He will deliver remarks and place a wreath at a statue that honors those who have served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Rep. Abruzzo also will attend the Veterans Day Parade hosted by the city of West Palm Beach and the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee. The parade begins at 11 a.m. The route will be down Clematis to the Centennial Fountains in West Palm Beach.Rep. Abruzzo presently serves in the United States Coast Guard as a port security specialist.
Rep. Mark Pafford, D-West Palm Beach, will attend the Veterans Day Parade that begins at 11 a.m. in West Palm Beach.
In BROWARD COUNTY
Rep. Gwyndolen Clarke-Reed, D-Deerfield Beach, Veterans Day Breakfast and Ceremony, 9:30 a.m., Hagen Park, 2020 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors. Clarke-Reed also will attend an 11 a.m. Veterans Day Ceremony at the American Legion Post #222 at the new Oakland Park flagpole in Jaco Pastorius Park, 4000 North Dixie Hwy., Oakland Park. Additionally, Rep. Clarke-Reed will attend the Elks Lodge Americanism Team at Pompano Beach Lodge 1898 for an event that begins at 11 a.m. Friday at the Elks Lodge Picnic Grounds, 700 NE 10th St., Pompano Beach.
Rep. Jim Waldman, D-Coconut Creek, 11 a.m. ceremony hosted by the city of Coconut Creek and American Legion Post #170 at Veterans Park, 3550 Lyons Road, corner of Sample Road and Lyons Road in Coconut Creek.
In DUVAL COUNTY
Rep. Reggie Fullwood, D-Jacksonville, Veterans Day parade in Jacksonville. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at the Times Union Center and continues down Water Street to EverBank Field.
Rep. Mia Jones, D-Jacksonville, will participate in the Jacksonville Veterans Day Parade that begins at 11 a.m. Friday.
In CENTRAL FLORIDA
Rep. Scott Randolph, D-Orlando, Veterans Day event at 6 p.m. Friday at the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, 946 North Mills Ave., Orlando.
