Everyone considered Trump’s win a long shot. Democrats had a pep in their step, gleeful as they contemplated their third-straight presidential victory on Election Day. Many Republicans counted Trump out long since, downplaying his chances to win the presidency, quietly plotting how they would rebuild the party in the election's aftermath.

This week, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., teamed up with U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, D-Wash., and U.S. Rep. Julia Brownley, D-Calif., in urging the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to cover veterans whose wounds prevent them from having children by expanding Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) coverage, including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). 

House Speaker Richard Corcoran and Senate President Joe Negron are both attorneys, both conservatives, both former appropriations chairs -- but if you're looking for clues to leadership style, any other similarities are a lot harder to find.
