No parent wants to consider the travesty that when he sends his 18-year-old daughter to college, she could be vulnerable to sexual assault. But in the increasingly punitive atmosphere surrounding sexual-assault allegations, he should also fear sending his 18-year-old son to campus, where he may be falsely accused of rape.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is all over television, peddling the darndest notion. She insists voters really do agree with Democrats on the issues, they just don't come out for midterms. And that's why Team Blue lost.

I hope she didn't tell that to Mary Landrieu. After 18 years in the United States Senate, Democrat Landrieugot crushed like a chili pepper in last Saturday's Louisiana runoff election -- for no other reason than she couldn't wash her hands of President Obama's policies fast enough.

Americans Believe Police Protect and Serve

Most Americans are strongly convinced that their local police protect and serve and give them high marks for their jobs, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll released Tuesday.

The poll found 67 percent of American adults see the average police officer as a protector, while only 11 percent view the average police officer as a threat.

Rick Scott Keeping Barbara Palmer at APD

Gov. Rick Scott announced on Tuesday that he was keeping Barbara Palmer as director of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). Palmer took over the post in August 2012 after serving as chief of staff for the agency for a year and, before that, working as an assistant secretary for administration at the Department of Children and Families.
