U.S. Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., came out swinging at President Barack Obamas Cuban policies in an op-ed published at Times website on Tuesday. In the op-ed, Diaz-Balart insisted the Obama continues to appease brutal dictatorships while gaining precious little in return." Diaz-Balart also hit Obama's policies in regards to Iran and other nations in the op-ed.

Former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass., endorsed former Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Chairman Lenny Curry in the runoff next month against Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown. Curry led the RPOF in the 2012 elections when Romney was the Republican candidate against President Barack Obama.
