And that probably sugarcoats it.

For trade deficits subtract from the growth of GDP, and the U.S. trade deficit that just came in was a monster.

John Bolton Backs Ron DeSantis for Senate

Former Amb. John Bolton, who is looking at running for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 and was President George W. Bushs ambassador to the United Nations, threw his support behind U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., campaign to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. in the Senate. Rubio is running for the Republican presidential nomination.

Marco Rubio Woos New Hampshire Republicans

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., woos Republicans in New Hampshire, home of the first presidential primary, as he continues his bid for the White House.

On Thursday, Rubio released a Web video showcasing his efforts in the Granite State.

America's smallest state -- one Nevada county is nearly eight times larger -- has the longest name: In a 2010 referendum, voters kept the official title, State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.The state also has a dark-horse presidential candidate who is the only Democratic candidate so far who can shoe a horse. "Put a blacksmith in the White House" could be Lincoln Chafee's slogan.
