Bernie Sanders Heading to Florida to Turn State Blue in 2018

Florida is ready to Feel the Bern once more -- Vermont Sen. and former Democratic presidential primary candidate Bernie Sanders is heading to the Sunshine State later this month, according to a release from the Democratic National Committee. 

Sanders will be coming to Florida as part of the DNC's effort to turn historically red and "purple" states blue once more. 

Florida falls into the latter category, going red for President Donald Trump last year after voting for the Democratic Party in 2008 and 2012.
