Zogby's Dream Scenarios for Democrats: Outliers or Out-liars?

Democrats are excited about the latest Zogby Poll that shows Alex Sink +5 over Rick Scott, and Charlie Crist a mere 6 points behind Marco Rubio.

Calm down, folks. These results are complete outliers.

Every other poll shows Scott or Sink leading within the margin of error (which, apparently, is pretty large in Zogby) and Rubio holds a solid and consistent double-digit advantage in those other surveys.

The problem with Zogby is that its "interactive" methodology fails to establish a true scientific sampling. For that reason, The New York Times' FiveThirtyEight political blog does not use Zogby surveys in its forecasts. Democrats would be advised to do likewise.
