Young Republican Network Backs Karen Harrington for Congress

Karen Harrington, running in the Republican primary to take on U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz won the backing of the Young Republican Network (YRNetwork) on Tuesday. The YRNetwork is a national organization of young activists who use the new media and technology to promote the GOP.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the YRNetwork, said Harrington. Organizations such as YRNetwork are leading the national debate and are laying the groundwork for a Republican comeback by making necessary inroads with people that were previously not engaged in the political process, as well as communicating our ideas and principles with people who are already engaged.Earning their endorsement is extremely gratifying.

Harringotn also said she intends to mine the YRNetwork for ideas on how to promote her campaign.

"I look forward to working with this organization's members so that we can more effectively communicate our campaign's message of fiscal responsibility and government accountability to the public," said Harrington.

Robert Lowry and Donna Milo are also running for the Republican nomination.
