WSJ Urges Newly GOP States to Join Florida Lawsuit Against Obamacare

Florida could gain some legal allies if newly red states follow the Wall Street Journal's advice.

The Journal on Thursday called on states with new Republican majorities to sign on to Florida's lawsuit against the federal health-care law.

So far, 20 states are in the suit against Obamacare. That number could grow by a dozen if states with newly elected GOP governors, attorneys generals and/or legislatures join.

The Journal applauded the lawsuit brought by outgoing Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, saying it "offers the best chance of success" against a law that tramples on individual rights and puts states in a financial strait jacket.
