Will Weatherford Falls in Line Behind Leslie Dougher for RPOF Chair

Leslie Doughers bid to be the next chairwoman of the Republican Party of Florida is picking up steam. On Wednesday, Dougher, the current chairwoman of the Clay County GOP, garnered the support of Florida House Speaker Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel.

I am honored to support Leslie Dougher for RPOF chairman, Weatherford announced on Twitter on Wednesday.

It was rumored Weatherford would seek the RPOF chairmanship, but he quickly shot down those rumors, saying he had a "higher calling" of being a more present husband and father.
