Will Weatherford and Don Gaetz Release Legislative Interim Committee Schedule

It seems as if the 2013 Florida Legislative Session just ended--and theyre already preparing for the 2014 Session.

On Tuesday, Speaker Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel, and Senate President Don Gaetz, R-Destin, announced the interim committee schedule for the rest of the year for members. The committees will only meet once a month during the last four weeks of the year--the weeks of September 23, October 7, November 4 and December 9. Things get more intense in January when they meet for two weeks, that of January 6 and January 13. They meet for three weeks in February, the weeks of February 3, February 10 and February 17 before kicking off the regular session on March 4, 2014.
