NASA has had to scrub another launch of Endeavour due to the weather.
The cross-country ferry flight of the space shuttle Endeavour -- initially planned for Monday but moved to Tuesday due to the anticipation of bad weather -- is now set for Wednesday.
The decision was made to ensure a safe flight for Endeavour and the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, NASA posted on its Website on Monday afternoon. A low pressure front in the northern Gulf of Mexico is generating thunderstorms along the predicted flight path.
A briefing on the flight will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The final shuttle built, Endeavour is heading to the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
