Watch It: GOP Ad Hammers Sink on State Pension Loss

The Republican Party of Florida launched a new ad blasting state Chief Financial Officer Alex Sinks stewardship as a trustee of the State Board of Administration.

The ad charges that the state pension fund lost $24 billion on her watch. After the losses, SBA followed up by rewarding employees with bonuses, the ad states.

Despite knowing the risky nature of SBAs investment strategy for Florida, CFO Alex Sink ignored the warnings and now Floridas seniors are suffering because of that, said RPOF Communications Director Dan Conston. With 11.7 percent unemployment, the last thing Florida needs is a governor with a record showing incompetence and no accountability.

The SBA's three-member board of trustees is currently comprised of Gov. Charlie Crist, Attorney General Bill McCollum and CFO Sink.
