Washington Navy Yard Shooting a 'Planned Assault' According to Allen West
Former U.S. Rep. Allen West, who served in the U.S. Army for more than two decades and on the Armed Services Committee during his term in Congress, weighed in on the Washington Naval Yard shootings on Monday. West insisted a preliminary analysis indicates this was a targeted attack against U.S. Navy Sea Systems Command a planned assault. A favorite of the tea party movement, West has opened the door to a political comeback in 2016.
Watching the news on the incident at the U.S. Navy Yard in Washington, D.C., West posted on Facebook on Monday. First, my condolences to the families of those who have lost their loved ones and those wounded. Second, God bless America, but a preliminary analysis indicates this was a targeted attack against U.S. Navy Sea Systems Command a planned assault. And yes, there are some indicators and warnings that parallel the shooting at Fort Hood. I don't care what anyone says about my assertions. Leaders look objectively at trends.
