Video: RPOF and Connie Mack Try to Glue Obama and Bill Nelson Together

With President Barack Obama in Florida on Friday night to help fund-raise for Democrats, the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) looked to connect U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson -- who is up for re-election in 2012 -- to the president.

Its no wonder President Obama is willing to fly down to Florida for tonights fund-raiser considering that Bill Nelson has been a reliable 'yes' vote for the policies that are taking our country in the wrong direction, spending recklessly and piling up trillions in new debt, said Trey Stapleton, a spokesman for the RPOF. His votes for the $800 billion failed stimulus andObamacare are proof that Floridians can't afford Bill Nelson in Washington anymore."

The team behind Republican U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, who has his eye on taking on Nelson in 2012, released a video doing much the same thing -- setting it to the smooth sounds of ... Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies?
