U.S. Unemployment Hovers at 8.2 percent for March

National unemployment stood at 8.2 percent in March, little changed from February, the U.S. Department of Labor announced Friday.

Employers added about 120,000 jobs in March, putting the number of out of work at 12.7 million.

The numbers are considered somewhat disappointing as economists had projected 210,000 new jobs.

The March numbers for Florida will be released later this month.

For February, the states unemployment mark stood at 9.4 percent, representing 869,000 Floridians listed as jobless.
