Two State Reps Back Karen Harrington for Congress
Businesswoman and Republican congressional hopeful Karen Harrington unveiled the endorsements of two state representatives as she continues to build for a rematch with South Florida Democrat U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Harrington announced on Tuesday that she had won the backing of Rep. Chris Dorworth, R-Lake Mary, and Rep. Jeannette Nunez, R-Miami.
It is gratifying to receive such enthusiastic support from both of these state legislators, and I look forward to working with our campaigns newest supporters as we position our campaign for 2012 and build our growing coalition that will enable us to defeat Debbie Wasserman Schultz, said Harrington in a statement released on Tuesday.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz has displayed a blatant disregard for the constituents in her congressional district and has towed the failed liberal policies of President Obama and his administration, insisted Dorworth, who is scheduled to become speaker after the 2014 elections. When we replace President Obama next year, we must also replace his mouthpiece, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. With her extensive small-business experience and unwavering conservative principles and values, Karen Harrington, has my support, and is the clear choice to defeat Wasserman Schultz in 2012.
