Tim Tebow Traded to the New York Jets, Not Jacksonville Jaguars

NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is headed to the New York Jets.

While there had been talk that the Denver Broncos would ship the former University of Florida standout back home to the Sunshine State -- namely his hometown Jacksonville Jaguars -- the quarterback is headed to Gang Green to back up Mark Sanchez.

Tebow (along with a seventh round pick) heads to New York for a fourth round draft pick and a sixth round one. Tebow had been starting in Denver, but with the Broncos signing Peyton Manning earlier in the week, the team could move him.
