Tim Tebow Should Be a Jaguar Insists Jacksonville City Councilman
While reports are flying that Tim Tebow could be headed to the broadcasting booth if a National Football League (NFL) team doesnt sign him, a Jacksonville city councilman is pushing the Jaguars to sign the Gator legend.
At a meeting last week, Councilman Don Redman suggested to a Jaguars official that the team sign Tebow. Redman told the Jacksonville Business Journal that he told owner Shad Khan the same thing. Besides his time with the University of Florida, Tebow has roots on the First Coast and played for Nease High School.
In the meantime, Tebow celebrated the opening of his first PDQ restaurant in Jacksonville earlier this month. The Jaguars won their first game of the season on Sunday though QB Chad Henne didnt exactly impress with no touchdowns and two picks.
