Tickets for Sarah Palin Event in Jacksonville Not Selling
Bad news from Jacksonville for fans of Sarah Palin.
The Florida Times Union is reporting that a fund-raiser for Heroic Media, a pro-life organization that encourages women with unexpected pregnancies to consider other options besides abortion, with Palin as the featured speaker, has been moved from a 2,900-seat theater in the Times Union Center for Performing Arts to a 600-seat room. Tickets simply arent selling for the event.
This cannot be a good sign if Palin can't attract a crowd on the First Coast, which is a bastion of conservatism and a happy hunting ground for Republican candidates in Florida.
Of course, Palin backers can say Jacksonville residents do not buy tickets for much of anything -- as all the blacked-out Jaguar games can attest.
