They Put the Liberty in Libertarianism

As a man who's re-reading Solzhenitsyn's "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" after a lapse of more than two decadea, I've got more than a passing interest in what we all too casually refer to as "liberty."
But fortunately, the Cato Institute comes through again with a reminder of what it's all about.
Check out their new website here.
It will be well worth your time.
Of particular note is a 1990 lecture by Joan Kennedy Taylor on the nature of individualism and group identities. Taylor has been gone for a few years now -- I had to check, she died in 2005 -- but hers is a voice that will never be silenced.
