Thanks for Making Sunshine One of Florida's Best in Washington Post Blog Standings
Sunshine State News ranks among "The Best State Political Blogs," according to a national compilation by the Washington Post.
Post columnist Chris Cillizza lists Sunshine State News in a 50-state compendium of top political sites at his page, "The Fix."
Cillizza said his selection process was "entirely driven by Fix readers and commenters," adding the legalistic caveat: "Many of the blogs are partisan and may use language and/or images that neither 'The Fix' nor the Washington Post condones."
"We got blog comments, tweets, Facebook messages and plain old e-mails with recommendations about the best of the best. And, after a painstaking search through all of the nominations, we aggregated them," he said.
With nine listed sites, Florida led the field, followed by Minnesota (8) and California and Nevada (7 each).
Thanks to all our Florida readers and those nationwide who took the time to vote for Sunshine State News, the right source for business and politics. We're so proud of, and grateful for, your support.
